Sri Lankan by birth, global in heart. At home at Drik. I love what I do – HR, projects and everything else that comes my way. And at Drik, a lot comes your way! The people I work with challenge me on a daily basis and I love challenges. Started my career in administration in 1990 and have not stopped since. My greatest achievements? My three children.
It’s not a great idea to shout out great things about myself here. Rather it’s better to demonstrate than describe. However, I am trying to afford an all out effort to sketch my characteristics and credentials underneath.
My first job was in a bakery. The second was in the finishing section of a garments factory. The third was in a construction firm where I worked as a supervisor. I have been at Drik since October 1990. I am the Office Manager at Drik. I am the son of the late Sk. Ishak and Mrs. Asora Begum. I love outdoor sports, especially football and kabadi. I also like to help people in need. I dislike shrewdness, pretence and gossip.
I was born in 1979 in Dhaka and did my B. Com (Hons) and M. Com in Management from the National University. I completed CACC from ICAB, Dhaka. I have been working at Drik since 2006 as an Accounts Officer. My hobbies include traveling, music and games. I participated in a debate in 1996 organised by Dhaka University Debating Club and was a Patrol Leader of Bangladesh Scouts. I also have practical audit experiences from different government agencies, NGOs, and various companies.
You can simply call me Irfan. After completing a photography course I joined Drik as a photo lab technician. I later obtained a diploma from BEGART Photography Institute in Dhaka and attended the IIPC photography workshop in Madras, India as well as a workshop conducted by photographer Steve Conlan. In 1996, one of my photos got special mention in a contest held at Tritoranga, Chittagong. I participated in Bangladesh Photographic Society’s international photography competition and exhibition in 1997. The following year I won the UNESCO Accu Award. My photographs have been exhibited in Romania and some have been published in ‘Mosaic in Green’, a publication of the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry.
I am Lisa. My involvement with Drik starts from the year 2000 when I worked as a volunteer for Chobimela I. From that time I have had an emotional attachment with Drik. Since 9th February 2008, I am working with Drik as a Front Desk Executive. I love Drik and my job very much. I like to read almost anything, listen to music, watch movies and love to spend time with my little Prince. I dislike people who criticize my job and are dishonest. I feel very sad when people misbehave with me.
I have four years of experience in image developing. My responsibilities are scanning, retouching, archiving and assisting in the Managing Director's work. I participated in FK(Fredskorpset) Exchange Program and worked in Drik India for ten months. In this regards I have traveled to join seminar and workshop in Bangkok, Bengalore, Madras and Kolkata. I like photography, visiting historical places, music and movies as well.
